Saturday Night Live - "I'm on a Boat" feat. T-Pain
In case the rainy weather has got you feeling down, this video is a nice pick-me-up. I wouldn't rank it above Samberg's other Digital Shorts ("Lazy Sunday", "Dick In a Box", "Jizz In My Pants"), but it certainly holds its own. You can always expect smart writing, goofy costumes and a hilarious premise in Samberg's videos. The T-Pain cameo takes it to another level, but as I mentioned before, it still doesn't elevate this video above the ones featuring Justin Timberlake.

ReplyDeletesigning the lonely planet crew was a huge move for snl. they were struggling for a while (like 5 years back? soon after ferrel's departure) and the digital shorts have become an integral part of the show. they obviously translate to youtube and allow the musical acts to contribute to the episodes in a major way. as as avid snl fan im happy to see the show makin the necessary moves to remain relevant and creative.
